Commissioner District 3 - Tim Salyer

Tim Salyer is a lifelong resident of Johnson County and is serving his first term as Commissioner – District 3.  Tim has been a barber for 34 years and is the owner of The Hair Shack. Also, he drives a bus for the Johnson Board of Education, and he is the Pastor of the Christian Union Church.  He is a Mason with the Flat Gap Masonic Lodge and a Shriner with the Big Sandy Shrine Club. Tim resides in the community of Flat Gap with his wife, Tona. They have two sons, Jonathan and Tate.
