County Surveyor - Clarence Scarberry

Clarence obtained his Professional Land Surveyor License in 1979.  He studied Mechanical Drafting at Mayo Vocational School from 1967-1969.  Clarence began his career with the Kentucky Department of Transportation in 1969. In June of 1972 he became the Field Crew Chief, in 1979 he became a Licensed Land Surveyor and continued to be Field Crew Chief.  In August of 1980, he transferred to the Construction Section, whereby was Chief Inspector along with being Chief Surveyor on highway construction projects.  Clarence worked for Rifle Coal Company from 2002-2009 and was responsible for all survey, calculation, drafting, assistant estimator, and trouble shooter for design problems.  Clarence began working for Bocook Engineering in 2009, where he still works today.  He is responsible for day to day operation of the field crews along with the technician assistants whom compute and prepare plats/dats for clients.
